These traps greatly reduce carry-over from foaming or bumping.  Because the venting hole is located at the top, the foam can be prevented from climbing higher into the condenser.

Application: for use with solvents that foam excessively during rotary evaporation. Inner vapor tube is sealed to the top of trap to prevent foam entry into condenser.
