玉研仪器公司推荐的异氟烷动物吸入式麻醉方式，属气体吸入式麻醉，动物麻醉诱导和复苏都非常较快。异氟烷比恩氟烷更少经过生物转化，几乎完全由肺清除，对肝药酶系统的诱导很小，因此对药代试验和毒理试验干扰最小。麻醉时无交感神经系统兴奋现象，可使心脏对肾上腺素的作用稍有增敏，有一定的肌松作用。带给动物的并发症少，死亡率低；实验重复性好；对动物的生理指标影响更小；适合于大鼠、小鼠、兔子、狗、猴子等各种实验动物；是国际上最为流行的麻醉方法。
