连续可调激光衰减器/光束分离器可以专用于脉宽短到350fs的激光。可变激光衰减器光束分离器由两个高质量的偏振光学元件置入精密光机之中制作而成。可调激光衰减器使用高质量的偏振立体体光束分离器，把s光90度反射头透过p偏振光。使用半波片放置到入射光束，通过旋转半波片就可以获得连续可调的p光或s光。
